You can visit Baby Bump throughout your pregnancy! Our Petite Peek is perfect for an early look at your little one before your first regular OB ultrasound.

Just remember—the earlier you are, the less there may be to see. What we’re able to capture will depend on exactly how far along you are.

In very early pregnancy, we may be able to see baby’s heartbeat before it’s appropriate to listen to it.

We follow recommended ultrasound safety practices and do not use Doppler solely to hear the heartbeat during very early pregnancy. 

We can often determine baby’s gender by ultrasound beginning around 16 weeks, depending on baby’s position and cooperation.

Absolutely! Let your sonographer know before your scan begins. You can enjoy seeing your little one without spoiling the surprise, and we’ll prepare the gender information for your reveal.

For those adorable chubby cheeks and sweet facial features, our favorite window is generally 28–32 weeks.

That doesn’t mean you can’t get beautiful images earlier or later! Baby’s position, placenta location, fluid levels and the amount of space around baby can all affect what we’re able to capture.

Try to drink approximately 60 oz of water each day for at least three days before your appointment. Staying well hydrated leading up to your scan can give us a better opportunity to capture beautiful images.

A sweet drink before your appointment may also help encourage baby to wake up and move around.

Usually, no! You do not need to arrive with an uncomfortably full bladder for most Baby Bump appointments.

Babies already have opinions. 😂 Sometimes they cover their face, cross their legs, cuddle up to the placenta or simply decide they are not interested in their photoshoot that day.

We’ll try different positioning techniques and give baby an opportunity to move. Because baby’s position and other factors are outside of our control, specific images cannot be guaranteed.

Every baby and every scan is different. Image quality can be affected by:

• Baby’s position
• Fluid around baby
• Gestational age
• Placenta location
• The amount of space around baby’s face

Staying well hydrated in the days leading up to your appointment can help give us the best opportunity to capture those sweet little features.

2D is the classic black-and-white ultrasound view you’re probably familiar with.

3D creates still images with depth, allowing you to see more of baby’s facial features and little details.

4D brings those 3D images to life in real time—you may catch baby stretching, yawning, smiling or making the cutest little faces!

No. Baby Bump Imaging provides elective ultrasounds for bonding and keepsake purposes. We do not discuss potential medical conditions or abnormalities. Any questions or concerns about your pregnancy or baby’s health should be discussed with your healthcare provider. 

Our services do not replace prenatal care, diagnostic ultrasounds or evaluation by your healthcare provider. You should continue attending all recommended prenatal appointments and medical ultrasounds throughout your pregnancy.

Yes, you can book online or call and we can make the appointment for you. A 20% deposit is required for all appointments and will be applied to your total at checkout. 😊
